How To Fix Split Snowboard

About Ner farm

Christmas in Australia

Well this with the white Christmas will probably not today, 1 from the December begins in Australia Sommerzei t and also the rainy season. Sorry, you have not noticed the first week. After the cool water skiing trip it was boring again. Every day we must continue to prepare the house for the strike. The only great, what happened, this is a cow that was slaughtered and then the Kuehlraum has failed and we had the heavy cow then drag on a car to get them to go to the neighbors. On the way to the neighboring farm (it was night) we were far from a bushfire burning, doc h we are on our farm, protected well, because we have near a river, not even in the dry summer.

Because we were water skiing and race have also visits the Roma, we worked on Sunday for the lost days catch up. But Nicholas was one of the quietest days on the farm work (maybe it was that I found 10 little older beer cans thank you, dear Santa Claus, you know, I was always good:-D). In the next week threw the other hand, something long piece, we finally have prepared less the small house, (you see in the picture ^ ^) and then we could finally begin, to paint it. move first on Friday gabs ne other work (water) pipes (So plumber I will not either, but at least I now know a little pointed, is ^ ^) and on Saturday we had the feeding stations for the cows with grain fill, and we as always i rgendetwas happened (the fuel hose is broken and we had 2 go back again). This weekend was again a couple of Jaeger Brisbane here and that we went to the dam, to catch Jabby `s (crayfish), but they caught only 2 fish, 2 shrimp, which were much too small. Then we went home with empty stomachs and we had to content ourselves with noodles.

On Sunday, our first day off was after 14 days, but we just did not know what we should do all day. MITM MITM Jeep and motorcycle were traveling slept in times (up to 8 clock ^ ^) and talked a little with the hunters. As we were looking forward again to Monday, work, work, work!

corn chopped and given to cattle, the Shearings Quarter prepared less and painted and John Walter and mastering a few sheep for Wednesday and Thursday, for to eat because of drought and low in Kooroon we had a few sheep (3 road trains, each with 2 pendants, each with 4 floors, about 120 sheep per floor = 2880 sheep in 2 days) to bring Heather (farm of Bob and Amy). On Thursday was the departure of John and Michelle, the Christmas in Western Australia with her parents wanted to celebrate by Michelle. Since then the two wegwaren, it was still rainy, colder and more boring the work ^ ^

We then had to remove only the top boards, because Walter is not so much on the circuit. So I had every day on the 4-foot ladder climb, set to the last stage to be able losstreichen then. Sometimes I had on the roof rumklettern to come to the boards, but we had to öffters the work set for several hours because it rain again began to run.

But on 25 December, on Christmas day, was not a single rain fell. On Christmas day I was up early to many people (probably you too ^ ^) Merry Christmas wish to. Around 11:30 we went to Christmas going on. I got a lot of sweets and a very good Christmas Dinner (Turkey and Christmas ham) and then we do not have to pop firecrackers. We sat together and talked for ages about customs and in the last few days on the farm. Then we looked for the whole family DVDs (I `ll give him an order he can not refuse ^ ^, the Godfather and the Patriot) and I drove with severe stomach and many many sweets to back home.

We were still working the 1.5 days after Christmas and then I had to take my leave of the whole area. Bob and Amy have already gone on 27 and we have already adopted. It was only the parents and whale on the farm, which we will then leave for Toowoomba.
On the whole I can recommend the life on an Australian farm only. We have seen things that I could not imagine two months before. Have a really good idea to get a life on a farm and got to know many hunters, farmers and other backpackers. Hope I find a family again as the Browns.

Where Do You Draw The Line?

work in a 30,000 acre farm (12 145 ha = 122 km ^ 2)

We went on Sat to 10.28 clock in the morning at 7 going to get our first job. The scenery was only the first houses and then only with endless fields and meadows. Only one in 50 km was a "city" that was as big as Abenberg. Occasionally we saw Kangaroo's, Emu's, sheep, Wollabee `s (small Kangooroart), cows and road trains (trucks with three double-decker cars that can soner on street rather should go out of the way ^ ^). From St. George to Bollon there were only 3 in the bus. The bus driver was surprised to look for what young people like us in this desolate region (Bollon drive is the last but one station, the buses in Queensland). In Bollon arrived (at 17:30 !!!!!) we got out and then stood in the midst of a like a picture book out for Western border town. We asked the same sales girl in a cafe if we could call her at Bob, as a normal mobile phone has a network here, to which she responds that he is late and we should wait here for him. Then we waited here 20 minutes and talked to all sorts of people who came into the shop and all knew the farm, and Bob, even though it is 20 km Here lives away. Then came our last employer, a 23 year old young man, as old as Erik ^ ^

He lives with his girlfriend Amy in a run-down farm called Heather, who bought his family 5 years ago, Amy and Bob hat.Meistens live here alone, except in the huge farm on the weekend are still 2 Jaeger as the Kangaroo's and wild boar shoot. We then had dinner only once, and then Bob drove us to our house (vll 500 meters away). The house was huge and we had s own kitchen and shower, but for the toilet we had to walk along a bridge, because the hall was demolished. Also, one should always pay attention to what occurs is, snakes, spiders and other poisonous animals live around the corner, but there is still nothing happens (the most poisonous animals we've seen frogs and toads are). Around our house is all kinds of Unused, like an old tennis court, swimming pool and lots of old car's and equipment. Every evening there is then a really loud and noisy chorus of frogs, the first so unwatchable to 2 clock. Then after a short sleep, we go wrong with the work. The work was nic ht harder than working in the WWOOfingfarm. We made a new fence, repaired some farm equipment and then We prepared our tools for the "Lambmarking" before. Lambmarking means that first the sheep are driven from their pasture to the house, then the lambs are bodies obtained from the sheep, I have to lift it and then put them on a potest, then look, male or female (I must declare I hope net: -D), then comes from the tail, the males are castrated (hope I will explain it and net) and in females below the wool is clipped so not a fly lay their larvae there, then w ground nor the Hoerner trimmed and punched in the ear (left female, right male) get another anti-fly spray on his stomach and then the next. This can already a whole lot of blood to be shed and we have gotten what öffters, but the lambs were actually calmer than I thought. On Mon, our first marking-day, we have 358 lambs geschaft (from 2 to 6) and on Sat 390 (have 1 working std more, but we had a break because there was Melbourne cub. This is a horse race, that goes all day and Koenig discipline is 2400 meters canter). Lambmarking is a really hard job to do and it's always something. Even this is not just appettitlich and I will probably not make as a profession ^ ^

From Tue we were done with all Lambs on this area (750 lambs in one year a total of, are 3,000 sheep) and now we have to . Further draw So again all pack up and get up at 5:30 on Sat morning, fully charge the car and then it'll go in the 2 hours away Farm Munda Munda. This is 50000 acres large and the owners are Todd and Anita. They are friends of the Brown family and they have other sheep, 3000-4000 by Bob. Todd and Anita are really nice, they have öffters invited to dinner with them or something. We lived in a 1 km from the guesthouse, where we had 5 (Amy, Bob, Walter (Bob's father), Chris and I) all we need for life. On the first day Bob showed us almost the whole region (after 2 1 / 2 hours we were closing by) and then we have the fence for `s Lambmarking established. For all sheep in this farm, we need a plane (!!!), damit alle Schaafe ausfindig gemacht werden koennen. Then we went to bed and then at 4:00 we were ready for the short trip to the sheep. It was really dark until we arrived. A total of 700 lambs have been waiting for us and we have had it done in 6 hours. Then the work was done on this farm for the time being and we had our stuff back pack and charge the car, but this time we all went along with a Jeep, so we had Chris and I squeeze into the back between bags, backpacks, bikes and dogs. Then we drove home two hours and had then for this day still free (well after 11 hrs labor).

The next day at 10 Clock, we went with the parents of their farm to Bob, because Bob had no work for us anymore. After 4 hour drive (but not in the bed:-D), we came in at Kooroon (20,000 acres), the farm of Alison, Walter and from the big brother John. We lived in Munda Munda in a guesthouse (shearer's cords) with 3 other companions (John was a craftsman of Brisbane, who then renovated the kitchen. He came originally from Germany / Mike is from the Sunshine coast and fishing , but here he only hunts with his friend Frank. Has its own boat and gave me a lot about hunting and fishing taught / Frank is a mechanic in St. George, but he meets each year with his friend Mike while hunting here on the farm. They usually hunt wild boars and Kangaroo's, but also wild goats and rabbits). In another house lives the eldest son of John, lives together with his Freundi n Michelle. With so many people it is never boring. If we break, we sit with Alison and Walter, drink tea and chat with the two John `s. Lunch we have to take myself, but mostly because Mike and Frank sit and tell what uebers hunting or fishing and the dinner we usually sit all together, drink beer and enjoy your evening. The work is not as bad as Lambmarking, on the first day I have with John repaired many machines, welded and am much rumgefahren (I can drive all the machinery, trucks and even motorcycles, just amazing:-D). On 2 Day I had to remove the roof, which was sometimes really difficult and 3 Day I had to just paint scratched off, so nothing bad ^ ^

On 2 Day I night I went with the hunters to hunt, but had not much luck, only a rabbit and a wild boar. We had better luck on 3 Day when I am with the two John `s gone on Gesichtigungstour and there we have seen all sorts of Kangaroo's, wild boars, etc.. Through this farm also runs a oil pipeline and 2 Oelbohrstationen are still in the middle of the plot, but unfortunately no longer in operation. On this farm you can already easily get lost, but that is indeed smaller than 1000 ha Manda-Manda!

Then we had to cancel the whole house. Now was not so hard work ne, but we had to work at 10 meters height to work on very very wackelicken ladders. During breaks and after work, I continued to work on my Peitschtechnick, drove through the area or bathing in a river that was so full of sand that you see the ground can not. After a whole week and 2 empty paint canisters 20 l, we were finally ready.

On the penultimate day, we finally made something different. We had to miss a Eartick calves. It was not easy, because they were already really big, heavy and strong. The measurements we had to stick together. After that we drove 200 cows + calves in a
Road Train. He was properly screened Eumig and Driver has even had his own bed, is already a great life on the road ^ ^ After this work, we made another Cattle Master with motorcycles, that was really cool, Duess to a maximum of 80 km / h closing by all possible and then Cows scare through the Prairies. The Shepherds go there with too often, because they are really effective for the critters. Sometimes they just jump back on the motorcycle with you when they are too lazy to walk ^ ^ But unfortunately we had to make lambmarking and after 2 days I would much prefer to emphasize again or Cattle masters ^ ^
We went to John 3 hours through the prairie australiesche back to Munda Munda. We arrived at night (10 clock) and were Bob and Amy, as always, greeted (very different from what you expect from it is Australia, they say nothing) and had to sleep right away, because
morning we went to! 3! Clock off. It was really hot in the house, I could not sleep easy, although the Fentelator ran all the time. Then wake up quickly, dressed, have breakfast and

(Bob, Amy, Walter, Alison, Chris and I) lambs

going to. It was at night and another 39 in the morning 32 degrees. After the first 600 lambs we went to a different enclosure by waiting another 250 lambs. Our lunch we had the wilderness to take us without a lot of shade and most of the water was and no matter how much we drink Pisswarm, we were still thirsty. After we built the Lambmarking yet from the enclosure and then we drove home (it was 6 clock, 15 hrs work). We were all really ready, then made dinner, showers and drinking is the only thing that was cold, beer ^ ^

Next day we went on leave at the same time, but we had to make only 500 lambs and the last day of work we did the last sheep, and approximately 600 We are the properties Lambmarking faster than we thought and so we were able to escape from the hot and full of mosquitoes, overgrown farm and make us back on the ride home. The next day we made free and slept almost the whole time. Next they were off again in painting. In the next few days, leaving the Browns 2 cows slaughtered by a butcher. Then hung four halves of a cow in Kuehlraum that take away almost the entire place. The intestines were then distributed to all very nice dogs, which then distributed them enjoyable. It at least 1 week after rotting stench still remains. After we have removed a further 2 sheds, we started to scrape the color of John's house, which turned out to be a real CHALLENGE. We work every day 6 hours at the house, but the color was really difficult to get. We tried everything, air pressure, water pressure, Flex, scratches, but everything went very very slowly.

weekend wars again very funny. We went to Rome (3 hrs) to the Roma Cup (horse racing). There we had cared for and appear with a tie, or they have a non-pure, which was weird because most people (from Brisbane to Northern Territories) only came here to drink in order ^ ^

We took a Cussin by John on Sat and came out tomorrow in the afternoon. Once there we immediately went Unters tent, as it was back to the 44 degrees. Half of the races were canceled because it was too hot, I saw only one and unfortunately I was too late to bet. Then from 4 clock was then going on the party which then ended at 2 clock at night. We slept in swags (sleeping bags, with whom you can camp out there all year) and in the morning we went back home. The evening was really great and we really saw many new and old faces. 3-hour drive up to a party is nothing here. A nice group took us to St. George, and Michelle drove us home, which was a great party ^ ^

In the following week we had to do with the back wall until then the weekend came. John has had a birthday on Sat but it was only really celebrated in the evening (Walter congratulated me after the first, for he has forgotten him iwi ^ ^). At night gabs then the first rain since we have been working (1 month), it was a nice feeling ^ ^

On Sat we are still working in the morning until 2 clock and then drove we go with John to go Water Skiing. We drove 3 hours up to a big lake between Brisbane and St George. There we met up with 3 friends of John (the 4 meet frequently at the lake to water ski) and a motorboat. Unfortunately, we could go until the next morning, so we were with SWAG (outdoorschlafsaecke) and provided enough food + drink. Charles belonged to the boat and he drove with the two mechanics Ben and John from Brisbane up to the lake. As everyone here they were right net and we also had a lot of fun. The next morning we had to get out by 4 clock (I'm slowly usual ^ ^) to go as long as possible water-skiing. I was running, thanks to my ski skills, really good, had few problems to keep me on the ski slopes and also tried miss a few jumps, but were more responsive to the water was ^ ^
Sorry, no more and at noon the boat not even brought the two mechanics to run it again. Dar we had to go earlier than planned, but on the whole it was a very nice first Advent.
Man I'm here for only one month here and it seems to me like I was living almost a year here. Have me really well with the people here became friends and have a lot of new people to know, have a tremendous amount of experience gathered to pop over whip to strike houses up to the masters of cows and sheep and have also the seen much around the farm around. Let's see, what to expect here even at Christmas time, definitely no snow ^ ^
greets me from the cold!

Farm course in the Outback

So after 2 days Brisbane, we were on our way to the farm price. This takes 1.5 hours from Brisbane in a small farm (~ 1000ha) instead. We (10 +3 farmer workers) live about 20 minutes. from the farm, and 10 minutes of a "city" (a bottle shop, a supermarket and a working business clothes + 20 houses). Here, almost no people, just miles and miles of pastures, cows, horses or just desert. One can see from the farm no more house, hills, even after the next, total wasteland.

The farmers who run the farm price hot, Mad and Ren. The net are real and really funny, but sometimes they talk a little indistinct and outback-origin comes out (they look really like real cowboy's and behave like that:-D). They always drive us to the farm, or if we need something in the next town. The people who join with me and Chris the farm price hot, Sam, Keith (Ireland), Joe, Adam, David, Reichel (England), Kevin and Julia (Germany). The people here are really funny and we have to work a lot of fun during or after the ^ ^
celebrate the first day we only had paperwork, introduction and settling in the area. Then we went into town and have brought us great hats and other Acessoires (see the picture on bottom:-D). Then on 2 Days to get up at 5:30, so we are ready for work at 6:30. First, we must fuettern the horses and then went off to ride. It was quite different than I had imagined it, but it has, despite my ignorance, really worked well. We would have to catch it, prepare to ride and ride for 5 hours. The legs looked after, from really bad but I've never been dropped and I had the horse really well under control. Then, after lunch (meat, meat only, as it should be in a farm ^ ^) then went on motorcycles. It was only much about carbs, gas, clutch, etc. talked until we could finally go. The bike has 5 gears and can up to 80 km / h run, but we have mostly only the first 3 gears used, and my maximum speed was 60 km / h (but not on normal farm because of ^ ^). All the fields have been built with terraces, so that the earth is not the rain sliding down. Over the jump you had to and was really good fun. At 6:00 then the class was over and we went home and watched movies, drank beer and milling, as always, meat.

On 3 Day was then again rid of place, same time, himself. This time we learned how Quad's procedures. It is more complicated as motorcycle ride, because every stone, every pitch has an effect on the Quad. We must deal with the whole body in the Kürvers lie, so you do not runterfaellt and you must work against the slope. It was very exhausting in the long run, but we're only 3 hours down ^ ^. After lunch, we go off again in this time we had to go off-road terrain vehicle, which for that, have the NEN drivers' licenses were not bad. If we did not have to go, we could learn how to pop the whip, which I soon got out (but I still had red stripes on the back ^ ^). When we got there after work, the jobs were already there, which have been attributed to us. Chris and I got together a job as a "sheep picker", which means that we all carry sheep and sheep, the guardian. The job does not take that long, but ne Money source. We have since called and got the job immediately, which I am really very happy, because it is our first job.

The fourth day was rather boring, we only had to drive tractor, build fence and a bit of work with Chainsaw, although that was rather low. After work, we have received for our good work, spent beer and then we had to set about what we wanted to go tomorrow.
For the fifth day came the real work to us, we had all the cows through the Prairies to bring to the farm, because we had to identify calves. It was really bad because we had such post a horseshoe around the animals so they do not run away, but we should be there not as close, or they are attacking. I was, because I absolutely wanted to practice a bit, on a motor bike, which was not always great because the bike is the only one clutch that had to be almost always pushed at 5 mph. But we have the cows in 2-3 hours made it into the farm and then we had a shorter lunch break to rest, for it was even harder. Then we had to disperse the cows, sort it, count, branded, spray characteristics and against what diseases. After 3 hours we were there and ready and are sweaty and drecking to the pub in the "city" and have driven us to the other farmers and so maintained. The pub is the center of the nightly scene and everyone comes over here and drink something before he goes home. Now we are ready, we have passed all of the farm price and here we go right to work, then really am looking forward to my Muckie:-D
will now only be celebrated tomorrow and go back to Brisbane.
